Monitor

1. Monochrome Monitor

A monochrome monitor displays output using only one color (usually green, amber, or white) on a black background.

👉 Used in early computers; very simple and low cost.

2. Grayscale Monitor

A grayscale monitor displays images using shades of gray, from black to white.

👉 Better than monochrome for showing pictures and details, but no colors.

3. Color Monitor

A color monitor displays images using multiple colors (red, green, blue combinations).

👉 Common in modern computers for graphics, videos, and games.

4. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)

An LCD monitor uses liquid crystals and a backlight to produce images.

👉 Thin, lightweight, low power consumption; widely used in laptops and desktops.

5. TFT (Thin Film Transistor)

A TFT monitor is a type of LCD that uses thin-film transistor technology for each pixel.

👉 Faster response time, sharper image, better color quality than basic LCDs.
